Prohibited Items
No study materials of any kind are allowed at the Convention Center, the site of the examination. This includes, but is not limited to, any books, papers, outlines, notes, disks, cards, etc., including any study materials stored in electronic form. Such materials should be left in your hotel room, your vehicle or at home.
The following items may not be taken into the exam room and must be checked-in or taken to your vehicle:
- 1. Ear Plugs
- 2. Pencil Cases/Boxes
- 3. White - Out
- 4. Eye Glass Cases
- 5. Purses and Non-translucent bags
- 6. Storage Bags larger than One Gallon
- 7. Cell Phones or Pagers
- 8. iPads or other computer devices (Prohibition does not apply to laptop computers used for laptop testing program)
- 9. Cameras, Scanners or other picture taking devices
- 10. Written materials, including books or notes
- 11. Stop Watches
- 12. Clocks (including any type of exam timing device)
- 13. Calculators
- 14. Electronic Organizers
- 15. Tape Recorders or Players
- 16. Hats or Coats
- 17. Food, Drinks or Chewing Gum
- 18. Cigarettes or Tobacco
- 19. Mechanical pencils
No wristwatches of any kind are allowed. There will be a large digital clock in the testing area.
